Dr. Deeksha Kapoor is a trained GI surgeon with advanced surgical training in pancreato-biliary diseases. She travelled to various international centres, Beaujon Hospital, Paris, France, The University of Heidelberg, Heidelberg, Germany in 2021 and The Tokyo Medical University Hospital and The Japanese Foundation of Cancer Research, Tokyo, Japan in 2022. She has also completed a fellowship in GI Surgical Oncology from Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai. She has many publications to her credit, both in national and international peer-reviewed journals and has won many awards. She also received the National Level Gold medal, the Dr B Ramamurthi National Gold Medal for DNB General Surgery in 2014. She is a reviewer for many national and international journals and is actively involved in academic research.
